A Bit About Me

Pat returned to New Jersey after a 40-year career as an academic librarian in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.  She earned her library degree from Rutgers University.  Pat retired as a dean of libraries at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.

Growing up in Skillman and Pennington, Pat can trace her heritage to a fourth great paternal grandfather, Friday Truehart, a slave brought to Hopewell from Charleston, South Carolina. She is pleased that her great grandmother donated the land for the AME Church that now serves as an education center for SSAAM.
